Tommy and Selena have been together 9 years. This proposal involved a whole slew of cousins in on the secret. The proposal was planned to take place during a group cousins trip to Puerto Rico. Tommy and Selena plus nine other people. Even with that many people in on the secret, they managed to maintain the surprise. Quite impressive! All communication with me went through one of the cousins to avoid any evidence on Tommy's phone that might accidentally spoil the surprise. On the evening of the proposal, the story was that they were all getting dressed up to take pictures out by the water. So all 11 people got dressed up in coordinating outfits and headed out. When she came around the corner (they made sure she was last), she saw Tommy waiting in front of the flower heart arch with a huge smile on his face. So fun! They were both crying happy tears before he even got down on his knee. It was such a joy-filled event. This proposal took place in Río Grande, Puerto Rico.
