Alvin and Marissa. Alvin picked Playa Guajataca in Isabela, Puerto Rico, for the site of his proposal. He hired someone to do a beautiful setup with flowers and candles. He drove an hour and a half from San Juan to arrive at the chosen beach, and right at the scheduled time for his proposal....it was POURING rain. The decor people and I waited on the beach with our umbrellas watching the weather report and the dark clouds moving across the sky. Alvin stood by in the car in the parking lot with Marissa, waiting for our signal that the rain had calmed down enough to proceed. The rain finally slowed to a light sprinkle. We waited a little more. We finally gave him the go-ahead to head out to the beach. Thankfully, the beautiful decor setup was undamaged by the rain. Alvin and Marissa arrived at the spot and all was well. He proposed, she cried happy tears, and the sky later turned bright pink as the sun set hidden behind the storm clouds. Thanks to Brindando Momentos (Instagram @brindandomomentospr) for the lovely decor setup. Congratulations, Alvin and Marissa!
