The weather report said it wouldn't rain, but minutes before they arrived, it started raining. I waited under a tree, trying to keep my camera dry. They kept dry under a covered bus stop down the street. Thankfully, the rain stopped after about 5 minutes and we carried on with the plan. They arrived, he got down on one knee, and she said yes.
She also said she knew him so well that she could tell the proposal was coming. She said he "wasn't sneaky." Ha!
We took some pictures at the fountain and then walked along the Paseo de la Princesa, to the Floating Platform, through the fort wall at the Puerta de San Juan, up to the Catedral Basilica Menor de San Juan Bautista (the church by the famous El Convento hotel), and along Calle de la Luna.
