I did these senior photos for my nephew, my sister's oldest child. We were in my hometown of Oxnard, California, for a family get-together for Christmas. My parents still live in Oxnard after first meeting each other there 56 years ago. My family and my sister's family both head to my parents' house every other Christmas to spend time together. My nephew graduates this spring, so time for senior portraits. I have wanted to take pictures at the Carnegie Art Museum (pictured in the cover photo above) for a long time, so I seized this opportunity to use that location. My nephew is finishing up his requirements to be an Eagle Scout, so we got some photos in his scout uniform.
